Smoked Hickory Rub – Grilled Steak
Impress Your Guests with this Easy Grilling Recipe. Whether a Novice Griller or a Pro, Our King Kooker® Smoked Hickory Rub Makes Your Steaks Taste Spectacular!
Ingredients:
- 1 – 6.5 oz. Bottle of King Kooker® Smoked Hickory Rub – 2 TBSP of King Kooker® Smoked Hickory Rub per 1 lb. steak
- 1 lb. steaks – 1 per guest
- 2 TBSP olive oil per steak
- 1/4 cup of King Kooker® BBQ Sauce – See King Kooker® BBQ Sauce Recipe
- 1- King Kooker® Breader Box – Model# 1113BK
Directions:
- Coat steaks on each side with 1 TBSP olive oil.
- For 2 steaks, put 4 TBSP of King Kooker® Smoked Hickory Rub in the bottom of your King Kooker® Breader Box.  Place two steaks on the black plastic sifter tray and place the tray in position on top of the breader box bottom. Cover the sifter tray with the top of the breader box. For best results, only do 2 steaks at a time in the breader box.
- Hold the handles of the breader box tightly together and below chest level.  To bread, shake the breader box up and down until a thick breading coat of the seasoning has coated the steaks.
- Cook the steaks on a grill or in a skillet, turning as needed, until desired doneness is reached. Toward the end of cooking time, spread King Kooker® BBQ Sauce over the top of steaks for extra flavor. Turn over as needed. Monitor closely so as not to overcook. Cut a steak to check for doneness.
- Remove from the grill or pan.
