  • Fill pot ½ full of water. Add King Kooker ® Complete Crab, Shrimp, Crawfish Boil.  Complete, nothing to add!
  • Add the crabs to the basket using King Kooker ® Crab Tongs (#14400).
  • Slowly lower the basket of crabs into the pot of seasoned water.
  • Light jet cooker and turn the regulator up to a high output position.
  • Bring the water to a rolling boil.
  • Boil the crabs on high for 5 minutes.
  • Turn off the regulator output to stop jet cooker from cooking.
  • Add 1/2 Bottle to 2 Bottles of the King Kooker® Crab Boil, 8 oz., depending upon desired spice preference and pot size and quantity of crabs that you are boiling.
  • Squeeze the halved lemons into the boil and drop the squeezed lemon peels into the boil as well for additional great citrus flavor.
  • Let the crabs soak for 15-20 minutes before draining.  (15 minutes if crabs are “skinny”, light in weight)
  • While the crabs are soaking, gently press them down with a King Kooker® Paddle or Skimmer to keep them below the water level so they draw in the special flavors of the King Kooker® seasonings.
  • Lift the basket and let the water drain.  A King Kooker® Draining Rack (#00064 or #00068) is the perfect tool for draining your basket over the pot.
  • Serve and enjoy!  👌

A Little Extra

To complement your crab boil, try also boiling a few pounds of creamer potatoes*, a dozen ears of corn, a pound of fresh mushrooms, five or six cloves of garlic, fresh peeled onions, hot dogs, smoked sausage, or andouille sausage.  When boiling crabs, we like to boil our “extras” after we have removed the crabs from the pot and drained.  Then we add one more King Kooker ® Complete Crab, Shrimp, Crawfish Boil seasoning to the pot of hot boil water along with the potatoes, sausage, and/or veggies.  Boil the “extras” until soft and ready.
